Meet Chelsea Commander, FNP-C Family Nurse Practitioner

Chelsea Commander, APRN, FNP-C, brings skill, artistry, and extensive specialized aesthetics training to her role as a nurse practitioner at Louisiana Aesthetics and Skin Care in Prairieville, Louisiana. She offers a comprehensive menu of noninvasive aesthetics services, including WarmSculpting™ with Botox®, laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, photofacials, scar removal, dermaplaning, and more.

Chelsea earned her nursing degree at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana, and went on to earn her master of nursing to become a nurse practitioner at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. She’s certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. Chelsea also maintains active membership in the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Over the last decade, Chelsea has worked extensively in the areas of emergency medicine, orthopedics, and medical aesthetics. Since 2011, Chelsea has worked in a key role as a nurse practitioner at the Spine Center with renowned surgeon Kevin McCarthy, MD. She’s also undergone specialized training in injectables, laser services, and other aesthetics care as part of her leading role at Louisiana Aesthetics and Skin Care.
